Our Mission

Breakthrough News is a nonprofit media and educational organization dedicated to independent, fact-based reporting, and analysis on the issues shaping our world. We are a recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in the United States.

Since we were founded in 2020, we have been where you need us most: on the picket lines, in mass mobilizations, at community meetings, anywhere ordinary people are making history and fighting for a better world.

As humanity faces deepening economic crisis, new wars, and climate change, 90% of the media we consume is controlled by five mega corporations that dictate what news is covered and which voices are heard. That makes independent media like BreakThrough more important than ever.
