Activists continue to protect Venezuelan embassy in Washington D.C. from attempted takeover

Anti-imperialist and anti-war activists have been protecting Venezuelan Embassy in Washington D.C. for the past two weeks in order to impede a takeover of the building by Venezuela opposition forces

Activists in the US have formed the Embassy Protection Collective in order to protect the Venezuelan embassy in Washington DC from occupation by Venezuelan opposition forces. Led by CODEPINK and Popular Resistance, members of the Collective have been living in the embassy for over two weeks now with the permission of the Venezuelan government.
